Gebruik

1. Neutrale toekomst (Facts) Iets dat sowieso gaat gebeuren, je hebt er geen invloed op.

• Next year will be 2027.

2. Voorspelling (Prediction) Je voorspelt iets, maar je hebt geen bewijs. Vaak met I think, I hope, probably.

• I think the Conservatives will win the election.
• In the future, cars will fly.

3. Spontane beslissing Je neemt een besluit op het moment van spreken (aanbod of belofte).

• I’m cold. I will close the window.
• Don’t worry, I will help you.

4. First Conditional (If-zinnen) Je gebruikt will in de hoofdzin, als er if (+ present simple) in de andere helft staat.

• If it doesn’t rain, we will go to the park.
• If you invite him, he will come.
